THE PHAIR
Opening: Thursday, 21 May 2026 (by invitation only) // Torino, Italy
From 22 – 24 May 2026, The Phair | Photo Art Fair – dedicated to the contemporary image – encompassing photography, video, and new visual experimentations – returns to the Sala Fucine of OGR Torino, confirming its status as a key event for collectors, curators, and industry professionals. Now in its seventh edition, The Phair stands out for its clear and recognizable curatorial vision, capable of constructing a unified exhibition path where every proposal dialogues with the others. The fair’s signature layout features uniform exhibition spaces: a choice that enhances the artworks and offers a fluid, continuous visiting experience, designed as a single narrative.
Over time, The Phair has consolidated an identity built on quality and research, while simultaneously strengthening its international reach. This is further bolstered by synergies with events such as EXPOSED – TORINO PHOTO FESTIVAL, contributing to Torino’s growing role as a central hub in the contemporary image landscape.
To emphasize the deep bond with the city, this year’s lead image stems once again from a collaboration with one of its own cultural institutions. For 2026, a shot by Nanda Lanfranco portraying Giuseppe Penone within the spaces of the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea has been selected. The photograph, part of the Nanda Lanfranco Fund established in 2025 by the CRRI (Castello di Rivoli Research Center), is courtesy of the Museum and emblematically captures the dialogue between artist, place, and vision.
