Nadine Dinter PR is an owner-managed agency for media relations, PR consulting, and art administration. With its special focus on photography, Nadine Dinter PR supports cultural institutions in Germany and beyond, including museums, galleries, foundations, festivals, and private collections. The Berlin-based agency also works across a variety of sectors in the fields of contemporary art, lifestyle, and art & commerce.

Nadine Dinter’s career had a classic start: after training as a certified foreign language correspondent (English and French), she worked for several years in marketing for the pharmaceutical company Schering in Berlin. Nadine continued along this path at the German Academy for Public Relations (DAPR).

Following her certification as PR consultant, in 2001 Nadine moved to the US for two years. During this time, she studied arts administration at the prestigious New York University and laid the groundwork for her German-American arts and culture network. Parallel to this, she worked at the renowned New York gallery White Columns and handled public relations and procurement for the camera club PPA – Pictorial Photographers of America.

Back in Berlin in 2003, she found her footing in the dynamic, booming world of the Berlin art gallery scene. One of her first stations was a PR project initiated by C/O Berlin for the company Canon; this was followed by her role as director of Galerie Asperger and then as art manager for Alexander Ochs Galleries Berlin|Beijing. In 2006, Nadine drew on these multifaceted experiences to go into business for herself. Since then, her agency has upheld her mission to “consult, communicate, connect” with a commitment to:

Engagement
Individuality
Flexibility
Efficiency
Reality Production

The agency nurtures a national and international network thanks to longstanding work with high-profile clients such as the Helmut Newton Foundation, Galerie Bene Taschen, St. Moritz Art Masters, the Mark Shaw Archives, the Richard Avedon Foundation and artists working in photography and beyond, such as Roger Ballen, Till Brönner, David Drebin, Larry Fink, Greg Gorman, René Groebli, F.C. Gundlach, Olaf Heine, Marc Hom, Frank Horvat, Thomas Kretschmann, Christopher Makos, Sheila Metzner, Vincent Peters, Jean Pigozzi, Platon, Rankin, Sebastiao Salgado, Lawrence Schiller, Alice Springs, Mario Testino, Albert Watson, and Ellen von Unwerth. As a result, new clients benefit from a variety of synergy effects and heightened visibility.

As an independant curator, in 2012, Nadine Dinter developed the exhibition Andy Dandy and Other Works by the Hilton Brothers at galerie hiltawsky (Berlin). In 2018, she curated shows by Jean Pigozzi at the gallery IMMAGIS ART PHOTOGRAPHY (Munich) and Corpus Delicti with works by Sonia Szóstak, Steven Kohlstock, and Simon Lohmeyer at The Ballery art space. Adressing the ambivalence in depictions of the body in social media and its impacts on society today, the exhibition received widespread media attention. In October 2022, Dinter presented a selection of her own photographic work under the title Torso Reloaded at HAZEGALLERY in Berlin.

As a published writer, Nadine Dinter has been contributing to the prestigious photography website L’Oeil de la Photographie since 2019. Her monthly column, “What’s New,” features in-depth interviews and discussions with key figures from the international photography scene. From Winter 2021/2022 to Spring 2023, she shared her favorite events, galleries, and artists with photography aficionados in PHOTOGRAPHIE magazine through her bi-monthly double-page column, “INSIDE.”

In March 2023, Nadine expanded her contributions with a new column titled “Recap & Reload,” featuring interviews with world-renowned gallery owners about their businesses, artist portfolios, and more. Looking ahead to Fall 2024, she will launch a third interview series, “Fashion History – Models Talking,” where she will engage in conversations with former fashion models, discussing their favorite portraits and current work. The series kicks off in September 2024 with the iconic model Tony Ward.

In 2020 Nadine Dinter was accepted into the German Photographic Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie/DGPh).

Both in the past as well as the future, Nadine Dinter PR takes a clear approach to client relationships:

Never with the nose high,
but always a nose ahead!
