It was in his parents' photo studio that he developed his eye for photography, and he naturally turned to artistic studies. After a Master's degree in Cultural Management (EAC.Paris), he worked as a photographer, journalist and photo editor, exhibition curator, jury member and director of cultural affairs... But it was above all as a well-informed collector and finder of photographic treasures that he hunted down curiosities at fairs and in private collections. Finally, he settled in Arles, the capital of photography and a source of inspiration.
